Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner Joseph DiBlasi was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program.

DiBlasi donated the grant to S.T.A.R.S. (Striving to Achieve & Reach Success) Youth Center, an all-volunteer community youth organization providing rewarding activities and events for youth in Howard Beach and surrounding neighborhoods. The donation will help to purchase new sound equipment for the Center.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Queens community every single day,” said DiBlasi, whose office is located at 35 16 Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to S.T.A.R.S. and hopefully touch the lives of the kids who are involved.”
