Valenti International Raises Funds for Five Local Charities

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Rancho Santa Fe, CA----Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and “Swing for Kids” Honorary Committee member, Irene Valenti (President of Valenti International), was instrumental in raising funds for the “Swing for Kids” charity golf tournament that was held at the Del Mar Country Club on Friday, September 3, 2010.  “Swing for Kids” was San Diego’s first eco-inspired golf tournament and proceeds equated to nearly $200,000, which were recently distributed to the Rotary Club of Rancho Santa Fe, Kids Korps USA, San Pasqual Academy, Pro Kids Golf Academy and Camp Pendleton Armed Services/YMCA.

According to President and founder of Valenti International, Irene Valenti, “We were proactive in the fundraising effort beginning with the Tee Off event held at the Valenti Estate with Chubby Checker as our guest of honor.  He was tremendously generous by giving of his time and donation of his signature chocolate CHECKERBAR line that contributed to the overall proceeds.  With almost fifty years in the music industry, he is a dynamic entertainer and a renowned humanitarian --- it was an honor an a privilege to have his participation for which he helped raise funds for these charitable organizations.”
