DENVER – Adrenalin, The Brand Expansion Team™, has again teamed with the City of Longmont to promote a vital and lively shopping scene through the “Be Alive in Longmont” advertising and marketing campaign designed to drive retail sales and economic growth in the City.

Adrenalin introduced the comprehensive and cohesive campaign during the 2009 holiday season with the goal of inspiring residents to take advantage of all the incredible stores, restaurants and amenities available to them in the City of Longmont. Thanks to its experience creating programs that encompass many media delivery platforms, Adrenalin created print ads, outdoor, cable TV spots, online ads and social media communications that all tie together in a consistent message of how great it is to “Be Alive in Longmont.”

A major goal of the campaign is to educate local Longmont residents on the benefits of shopping in their local area. Increased shopping and commerce in Longmont will lead to increased sales tax revenue and more public resources for the City, therefore reducing its need to generate additional proceeds by increasing taxes or charging higher fees for City services.

The campaign continued in earnest during August this year. Print advertising featuring the “Be Alive in Longmont” message is running in The Longmont Daily Times-Call and Longmont Ledger, along with banner ads on those papers’ websites. TV spots with a corresponding message will also air on 10 different targeted local Comcast cable TV stations. Outdoor advertising has been placed on bus shelters around the City encouraging people to be “Be Alive in Longmont“ and check out the the http://www.BeAliveInLongmont.com website. Adrenalin will also power the City’s Facebook and Twitter social media platforms with the goal to create more ongoing and interactive communication between the City and residents and drive people to capitalize on the benefits of “Being Alive in Longmont.”

Moving forward after the holiday season, Adrenalin plans to continue activating the “Be Alive in Longmont” campaign through event advertising and sponsorship and different incentive-based promotions for local shopping. Adrenalin will also work with the City to push the “Be Alive in Longmont” message across the evolving media landscape to deliver the message where residents are looking for information.
