Kolesar & Leatham attorney appointed to lead national ABA subcommittee

Dec. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – Georlen K. Spangler, a shareholder at Kolesar & Leatham, a Las Vegas-based business law firm, has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the construction subcommittee of the American Bar Association (ABA) litigation section’s commercial and business litigation committee.

The litigation section is the largest specialty section of the American Bar Association and is dedicated to helping litigators become more effective advocates for their clients.

The leadership of the ABA litigation section’s construction subcommittee is comprised of four leading attorneys from across the country, including Spangler, who specialize in construction-related legal matters.  The ABA subcommittee works to provide its members with the most current legal information, news and analysis as well as continuing legal education (CLE) programs.

Spangler also serves as the chair of the construction law section of the Nevada State Bar.

At Kolesar & Leatham, Spangler concentrates her law practice on construction and commercial litigation matters, including representation of contractors and subcontractors in litigation against major hotel casinos and construction lenders.

Spangler earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team.
