Christmas Number 1- One Sided Reporting by The Press Association?

Conspiracy or oversight? On the evidence presented the Press Association have blatantly ignored the X Factor's biggest challenger for the UK's Christmas number 1 single... How could they miss it and retain their 'impartial' credibility?

Dec. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Can anyone spot the notable omission here?

There were flash mobs in Brighton and London, videos across Social Network sites, TV appearances including SKY news... yet the Press Association chose not to mention The Trashmen's 'Surfin Bird' tune being a Christmas number 1 contender this year ...

What do you think? Does it appear to you to be impartial factually and relevant reporting?
With the media coverage from local radio to national TV and Social Media sites too we ask ourselves how the heck did the Press Association not hear that The Bird is the Word?
