theAgency's Ventura County Economic Development Campaign Gets County Board of Supervisors' Extension

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- CAMARILLO, CALIF.--The Ventura County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously December 14 to extend the county's "Grow Your Business, Live Your Life" business expansion and retention outreach campaign created by theAgency, a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations firm based in Camarillo. The campaign was set to expire on December 31 but was extended to June 30.

A Shot in the Arm for Ventura County’s Economic Development

Sponsored by the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Ventura County, the outreach initiative is designed to retain, expand and attract businesses to the county and create greater employment opportunities for Ventura County residents.

“The regional collaboration between the WIB and the economic development and business community has been extremely gratifying and key to the successful launch of the Grow Your Business campaign,” says Heidi Hayes, president of theAgency.

Research conducted by theAgency revealed that Ventura County was often overlooked by businesses outside the county that were in the site selection process. But it was noted that once made aware of the region and its many benefits, Ventura County immediately became a viable consideration.

   The campaign, targeting businesses throughout California, officially launched in November with a new website, www.venturacountygrowsbusiness.com, print ads, direct mail and digital media.
