Volusia County Chiropractor Offers Free Chair Massage to Orange City Elementary Teachers

Jan. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- On Friday, December 17, 2010, Complete Wellness Center of Orange City provided free 5 minute chair massages for the teachers, staff and administration of Orange City Elementary.

Complete Wellness Center of Orange City is a business partner with Orange City Elementary and the free chair massage was part of the fulfillment of that commitment.

The Complete Wellness Center of Orange City massage therapist, Sharon Guest, LMT, offered free 5 minute chair massages from 8 AM until 11:30 AM on the Teacher Duty Day.  No students were at the school, so it was easy for the school staff to slip into The Media Center to receive their chair massage.  After their mini massage, each recipient received certificates for a free 30 minute massage and free chiropractic consultation compliments of Complete Wellness Center of Orange City.

Studies have shown that workplace stress is the leading cause of employee absenteeism and loss of productivity.  Just 5 or 10 minutes of massage increases productivity, reduces stress, boosts energy and alertness and improves employee morale.
