C-Style's Top Movers and Shakers of 2010

Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- C-Style Magazine named its Top Movers and Shakers of 2010 during its Year In Review. Making this year's list was none other than media mogul and talk show maven, Oprah Winfrey.

"Winfrey made our list due to the fact that she has embarked on an unprecedented journey by taking on the challenge of her own network." explained C-Style's Editor-in-Chief Lori Hendricks.  Winfrey's network entitled OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) began broadcasting across cable television on January 1, 2011.  OWN will offer viewers new and exciting programming headed by none other than Winfrey herself.

Others who impressed C-Style this year included newly elected Cook County board president, Toni Preckwinkle, IL. State Representative David Miller, Cheeky Chicago's Erica and Jessica,  WVON Talk Show Host, Matt McGill and WCIU-26 Entertainment Editor, Art "Chat Daddy" Sims.

"We felt these people exemplified what C-Style is all about.  They are go-getters who make the news happen." Hendricks said.
