Royse Law Firm Adds Attorney Pondra Perkins to Los Angeles Office Roster

Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES—Roger Royse, founder of Royse Law Firm, a corporate and tax law firm, announced the addition of attorney Pondra Perkins to the firm’s Los Angeles office.  “Pondra’s focus on digital media and corporate law strengthens our firm-wide entertainment, technology and Internet practices while beefing up our presence in Los Angeles,” said Royse.  Royse Law Firm, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, opened the Los Angeles office in 2009 to focus on corporate, tax, and estate planning law for companies in the technology, pharma, entertainment and real estate industries.  In the past year, Royse Law Firm has opened an office in San Francisco and added several senior-level attorneys, including David Spence, Lisa Chapman, Ayleen Ito Lee and, most recently, Harpreet Walia.  
   
Perkins serves clients in the digital media, online services, new media and technology industries.  “Pondra will leverage her experience as a past project manager for software and e-commerce companies such as Getty Images, Photodisc, and HitHive Inc., when serving our digital media clients,” said Royse.  Prior to joining Royse Law Firm, Perkins was a partner at Sattar Perkins LLP.

Perkins’ background includes media litigation as Attorney and Law Fellow for the First Amendment Project, where she represented journalists, media organizations, advocates and whistle blowers at the trial and appellate levels in State and Federal court.  She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law as well as a bachelor of science through the Human Centered Design and Engineering department at the University of Washington.  She is a member of the California Bar Association and serves as a board member for Loved Twice, a charity that provides clothing to underprivileged newborns.
