California Scooter Offers Military Series Motorcycles

Jan. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- California Scooter Company announced the addition of the Military Series to its popular line of 150cc small motorcycles.  The military-themed bikes are available in desert camouflage, jungle camouflage, and OD green.  Each bike includes custom paint (on the tank, fenders, chain guard, air filter, and wheels), a matching factory-installed luggage rack, and fork gators.  The combined effect provides a military appearance, which works well with the bike’s classic American design.

“When we showed our custom Sarge bike last year, the reaction and demand were over the top,” said Steve Seidner, California Scooter President and Chief Executive Officer (the Sarge was a military-themed custom show bike).  “Our top priority is to meet the needs of our customers, and that’s why we are offering the Military Series.  We build quite a few custom bikes, but I’ve never seen our customers react the way they did when people saw the Sarge.”

California Scooter Company also announced it will be offering a line of military-themed accessories for its new line, including ammo-can based saddlebags, custom handlebars, and other equipment.

California Scooters are manufactured in La Verne, California.   The standard Classic, Greaser, and Babydoll models are $4295.   The Military Series models, including all features described above, are $4995.   All California Scooters are powered by a 150cc four-stroke engine, with EPA and CARB compliant emissions equipment.  The bikes are street legal in all 50 states and Australia.
