Both engines are coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission.

The new 2011 Pathfinder SUV is more refined than the Xterra SUV and much more spacious than the Murano SUV. The Pathfinder SUV features a standard tow-hitch receiver that gives it a towing capacity of 7,000 pounds.

With spacious interior, the 2011 Pathfinder offers maximum cargo space of 79.2 cubic feet with both rows folded flat and 48.9 cubic feet behind the second row. Storage room under the second-row seats and eight utility hooks in the rear cargo area are also available inside the new 2011 Pathfinder SUV.

Safety features available on the 2011 Nissan Pathfinder include: air bags, traction control, Electronic Stability Control, Electronic brake force distribution, side door guard beams, front/rear crumple zones, 3-point front seat belts with pretensioners, load limiters and height adjusters, 3-point rear height adjustable seat belts, lower anchors & tethers for children system, and energy absorbing steering column.

Features on the Silver Edition of the Pathfinder come with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, Bluetooth® connectivity, XM Radio and Nissan’s integrated key-fob entry system. Features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, navigation system, heated steering wheel, Bose audio system and DVD entertainment system with 7-inch color monitor are all included as optional interior features.
