DTI Promotes EED Senior Consultant Jeffrey Jacobs to Associate General Counsel

(DTI), the nation’s largest independent provider of legal support services and document outsourcing, announces Jeffrey Jacobs has been named the company’s Associate General Counsel (AGC). As AGC, Mr. Jacobs has particular responsibility for the review and negotiation of sales and related agreements.

For the past three years, Jeffrey Jacobs has delivered tremendous value to clients as a senior consultant at EED, a DTI Company’s (formerly Daticon EED’s) national e-discovery consulting practice. He will continue in this consulting role in which he assists DTI/EED corporate clients with the development of litigation readiness plans and discovery processes.

Mr. Jacobs has more than twenty years of litigation and corporate legal experience, having served as special counsel in the litigation group of Sullivan & Cromwell’s Washington, D.C. office, and as in-house corporate and then litigation counsel at MCI. Jacobs was responsible for drafting and negotiating sales, marketing and partnership agreements for MCI, and managed the electronic discovery associated with the government investigations and related litigation surrounding WorldCom’s accounting fraud, bankruptcy and acquisition by Verizon.

Jacobs is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Chicago Law School.
