Bloom attending National Agents Alliance National Convention in Raleigh, N.C.

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- BURLINGTON, N.C. – Bernard Bloom, International Fraternal Presidents at Foresters™, a life insurance provider committed to the well-being of families, has confirmed that he will be in attendance at National Agents Alliance’s National Convention later this week in Raleigh N.C., National Agents Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Albright announced today. The convention, held at the Raleigh Convention Center, will host thousands of insurance agents and special guests from all over the United States. The event starts Thursday night and wraps up Sunday.

“It’s a tremendous privilege and honor to have a person like Bernard Bloom attend our national convention,” Albright said. “He has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise in our industry and we really just enjoy spending time around him. The keynote speaker will be Dave Anderson (author/sales and leadership trainer), and will also feature Roy Cooper (North Carolina’s Attorney General), Dianna Kokoszka (Keller Williams MAPS Coach), Tim Goad (Tim Goad Ministries), Wayne Goodwin (North Carolina Commissioner of Insurance), in addition to the top leaders in National Agents Alliance.

Bloom joined Foresters in 1962 and has held many branch and regional council positions before joining the Foresters Board of Directors in 2000. He was elected Foresters International Fraternal President in 2005.

Bloom was awarded the Grand Cross in 1989. Bernard is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has held a number of senior positions with Sun Alliance Insurance Group until he became an Independent Insurance Consultant in 1992. He volunteers with a pensioners group and serves on the board of Children's Miracle Network United Kingdom. He has served as a Magistrate (Justice of the Peace) within the United Kingdom Legal system since 1981. Bernard and his wife Maureen, also an active Forester, have two children, three grandchildren and live in Southampton, England.

Bernard Bloom’s association with Foresters began in 1962. Since that time he has held various Branch and Regional Council Officer positions, as well as Chairman of the UK Regional Councils’ Benevolent Fund.
