Jan. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- With hope for a magnificent sunrise/sunset or changeable weather front, like most though I generally pack wet weather gear, The Peaks don’t get so beautifully lush and green without plenty of water!

Today’s shot was taken in November of 2011 but certainly could apply to the conditions of late, the attraction was to be a **mist inversion**

Usually caused by atmospheric temperature change, a truly great spectacle to witness. Whenever I see one I always think of the John Carpenter film “The Fog” very eerie but also very beautiful as you are detached from the scene as though watching a film and so safe, as the mist swirls around higher mounds and buildings it creates a subtle white cloak in valley like a soft cotton wool blanket.
