BD-PRo Marketing Collaborates With MBA Students From Penn State to Provide Affordable Marketing

Sheryl Johnson, founder and CEO of BD-PRo is a 1986 graduate of Smeal. With more than 20 years of business experience, she founded BD-PRo in 2010 to empower small businesses to achieve their marketing objectives affordably. BD-PRo hired three Smeal interns last year who assisted the company in developing and implementing a marketing strategy that resulted in an 85% increase in qualified lead generation.

The team of MBA students includes Ruel Fernandes, Richard McGill, Emanuele Quattrin and Jyoti Sharma. Sharma started working with BD-PRo Marketing Solutions last summer and continued working for the company throughout the fall semester. Summarizing her experience with BD-PRo Marketing Solutions, Sharma said: “Working at BD-PRo has positively influenced my career and life. The experience helped me in putting my MBA coursework in perspective.” Quattrin added: “I am excited to have the opportunity to work at BD-PRo Marketing as part of my APEX project. I look forward to applying what I have learned in the classroom to a real-world situation".
