Organic Salon Systems Launches 2011 Education Calendar with a Successful Class and Workshop

Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- February 3, 2011.  Palm Harbor, FL.  On Sunday January 30 at La Mirage Salon & Spa sixty salon industry professionals plus 8 models attended an advanced certification class on how to use the latest natural products offered by Organic Salon Systems.  The full day event began with a morning classroom session with an in-depth curriculum that covered Organic Color Systems ammonia free hair color line, in conjunction with its supporting Care and Styling lines.  Students were presented with technical information on how to effectively use the products, examples of what can be achieved with 3 demonstration models by Creative Color Advisor, Lori Esposito and even a business segment about the growing organic salon marketplace!

After each section participants were encouraged to ask questions in an open forum that fostered conversation between the various levels of industry experience.

After a short lunch break, a "hands-on" workshop commenced.  Attendees were placed in six mixed groups and then each group was assigned a model.  The groups consulted their models as if they were a client and set out to color their hair with Organic Color Systems or perform a KeraGreen, formaldehyde free keratin smoothing treatment.  It was the perfect way for the students to apply the techniques learned earlier in the day.  Another positive aspect of the workshop was that these hairdressers were able to network while sharing their passion and industry knowledge.  By the end of the day each student was presented a certificate validating their use of Organic Color Systems and KeraGreen.

As a special way of thanking those who attended Organic Salon Systems donated the profits of all products sold at the class to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, located in New York City.
