Follow on Google News | ![]() New Facebook Page LayoutOn Thursday (10th Feb 2011), Facebook announced structural changes to the layout and design of Facebook Pages bringing them more inline with the recently rejigged personal profile layouts.
By: Clickymedia Some new features include: Photostrip above the Page This gives the page a charming new creative element to it and will show the most recent photos you have tagged or posted. This does not include photos or pictures added by users, which means you can keep it moderated easily. We will also be able to incorporate some really cool one-picture strips for that added bit of design! Tabs have moved Because of the new photostrip element, tab and custom tab links will now be on the left below the profile picture. Although this may seem like a minor change, it will allow for longer tab names (which we are rather excited about). Interact as your Facebook Page You will now be able to post and interact across Facebook, allowing you to post and comment as your Facebook Page. New (long-awaited) Facebook are adding an array of new administrative features along with the new Page layout. These will add an extra dose of engagement, with admins now being able to set filters on your Page Wall so that visitors see the most relevant content first and also email notices when someone comments or posts on your wall! No more unexpected comments first thing on Monday morning. These are just a handful of the new Facebook Page features that will be launching across the platform in the next few weeks. We’re really excited to harness the new layout and create some fantastic new custom Facebook Pages (http://www.clickymedia.co.uk/ # # # Full Service Internet Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-per-click advertising, Online CRM Systems and Email Marketing Services.
