Alphasonik Sponsors L.A. Recording School Listening Event

Feb. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- For the second straight year, Alphasonik Car Audio is proud to announce their sponsorship of SESSIONS, a creative showcase for students at The Los Angeles Recording School. The listening event is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 7:00 PM at The Los Angeles Recording School campus located in Hollywood, CA.

The Los Angeles Recording School is an intensive audio education program designed to take students inside the world of music and audio production. Students earn a certificate in Recording Engineering while learning and working inside industry-standard studios with hands-on training on some of the best recording gear.

Alphasonik sponsored the first ever SESSIONS event held on September 2010 and featured dozens of recording school students and a high-profile industry panel including Bishop Lamont (Rapper), Adrian Miller (World Star Hip Hop), Ron "Amen-Ra" (Producer), Derick Gallegos (Manager), and Fabian Duvernay (Former VP of Urban Marketing, Capitol Records).

"Our first SESSIONS event in 2010 proved to be a hit among our students and staff," voiced Cecilia Berry, Marketing Manager for The Los Angeles Recording  School. "The feedback that our students receive from the industry professionals is incredibly valuable to them and the winners were thrilled that they were awarded car audio prizes from Alphasonik."

Prior to the event, all recording school students are encouraged to submit their original songs or beats across all genres which are initially judged by The Los Angeles Recording School staff. From there, the staff selects a group of finalists who are then  asked to play or perform live at the SESSIONS event in front ofthe panel of industry professionals and their peers.

The Los Angeles Recording School has once again lined up an impressive group of judges to participate in SESSIONS on February 21 and Alphasonik will award the top winners with all-new car audio equipment.
