Follow on Google News | Stever Directs Redgrave For Drama Desk SizzlerFilmmaker Michael Stever, ('Super Force,' 'Broadway: The Golden Age,' & 'Saturday Nightmares: The Movie') not only ended 2010 with a bang, but with camera in hand kicked off 2011 directing one of the Entertainment Industries biggest names!
By: Michael Stever Inc. "What was so funny about the shoot," notes director Michael Stever " was we literally picked the coldest day of the Winter to film it, and Ms. Redgrave wanted to film outside in front of the beautiful Golden Theater so she could not only mention her play 'Driving Miss Daisy' but also mention the plays history with the Drama Desk as well. It was all perfect, except it was less than 10 degrees outside! So there we were eagerly awaiting our star - all huddled together in the lobby when we turn around and there she is, by herself outside on the sidewalk staring back at us! We all converged on her, and with the most impish grin she calmly uttered... "It's not that cold!" Ms. Redgrave, the New York City theater community salutes you for your inspiring strength, and for being one Hell of a stalwart Dame!
