Anoop Desai's "Want Your Love" Debuts on GlobalGrind.com

March 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Yesterday, music lovers across the country were abuzz after GlobalGrind.com featured the first music leak from Anoop Desai's Zero trilogy effort.  The Zero trilogies put a musical face to origins of Anoop's style, the essence of emotion, and the moments that make us who we are. The first leak off his debut EP, Zero.0, Anoop explores the depth of yearning. "Want Your Love”, written and co-produced by Desai and Sak Pase producer for Rihanna's latest smash "Man Down", is a jarringly heartfelt testament to the sacrifices we are all willing to make for true love. This is a special song-- a classic in all senses of the word that will no doubt announce Anoop as a force in today's Pop and R&B scene.

Anoop wanted a platform to experiment creatively without having to be tied to the constraints of a typical album project, so he conceptualized Zero into a mixtape/EP project. Working closely with DJ Trauma (Ciara, Estelle, Sean Garrett) who served as host and co-executive producer, Anoop set out to create a work of art that would give him free reign to create and experiment with different ideas, sounds, textures and lyrical concepts. Anoop explains, "0 is cyclical, a start and an arrival. It's an origin-- you can't have something without nothing. I want to play in both fusion and extremes with sound and subject matter."
