Grand Opening of the first WA Optimum Health Care Center in China

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The first 5-star service world-class health center has officially opened its doors to the Chinese market. The Grand Opening of the first WA Optimum Health Care Center in China took place in Shanghai in the historical XingGuo Gardens on February 28, 2011. The Center offers the highest quality of integrated medical care, personal and discreet service in a luxury setting.

Prestigious WA VIPs, shareholders, government officials, celebrities and many socialites attended the event. The ribbon cutting ceremony was officiated by WA Chairman Dr Shu Li, WA CEO Derek Muhs, entrepreneur and TV star Yue-Sai Kan, TV star Betty Ni, Government Officials from the SFDA and MoH, and the Canadian Consul General to Shanghai, Nadir Patel.

The ceremony was followed by a Gala Dinner, hosted by Derek Muhs and Betty Ni, highlighting health,beauty, and the human spirit. Yue-Sai Kan was announced as the honorary chairman of the WA Academy of Regenerative Medicine, which focuses on education and charitable work. Ms Kan said she is “pleased and honored to be a part of something that gives hope to those with considered “no-hope” diseases and conditions.”

A very special performance was given by renowned Chinese erhu player Ma Xiaohui, who is readily recognized for her duet with famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma on the Oscar-winning soundtrack for the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. In addition to Ms Ma’s inspiring songs, there was a performance by the Russian dance duo Yulia and Vitali, whose contemporary dance represented the vitality and energy that comes from optimum health.
