C-Style Celebrates Women's Month By Profiling Inspiring Women

March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- C-Style will present "Women Inspire." A profile of women with links to Chicago that have inspired others through their work and life.  Beginning Tuesday, March 15th, C-Style will feature A'Lelia Bundles.  Bundles is an award-winning former television producer for ABC News, and the author of the New York Times Notable Book, "On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker."

A'Lelia Bundles was born in Chicago and is the great-great granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker - the 19th Century entrepreneur and hair care maven who became the first black woman millionaire.

Bundles is currently at work on a biography of her great-grandmother and namesake, A'Lelia Walker, called "Joy Goddess."

Other inspiring women will follow on each Tuesday in the month of March.
