March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS, March 9, 2011 – The Outlook Foundation, a non-profit organization created to refurbish and repurpose computers, providing them to under resourced children as well as U.S. service personnel, made its first donations last week. The recipients were local 4th-grader Aylin Villasenor and National Guard Sergeant Azsha Ortega, who was recently deployed to Afghanistan. Lenovo donated the netbooks for these recipients.

The presentation ceremony was conducted by John Iasiuolo, president of the Outlook Foundation and host of Internet talk show, the Computer Outlook Talk Show, hosted at the New Horizons CLC of Las Vegas by Jennifer Rowland. Aylin attended the event and received her pink netbook in person, while Ortega’s computer was accepted by Commander Ken Roberts, Department of Nevada American Legion; and Yvette Weigold, Family Programs Specialist, Nevada National Guard.

Iasiuolo began the awards presentation by asking the audience, “Did you ever have a dream when you were a young child and see it come true? Well, Aylin is seeing a dream come true today, and so am I, in my second childhood. I really can’t believe that this day has come so quickly.”  He also expressed gratitude for “all the support I’ve had from my Computer Outlook Talk Show sponsors, and especially want to thank Diskeeper, Kingston, CMS Products, and SUPERAntiSpyware.”
