Cathy's Rum Cake Caterers Unveils New Easter/Spring Designer Cakes At Chandler Service Club!

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Chandler Service Club hosted its third annual “Wine & Old Bags” event on March 6 at Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort. The event included a silent auction of gently used designer and fashion purses, a vintage boutique of jewelry and a raffle of new purses and accessories.

All Proceeds Went To Help The Chandler Service Program "Warm feet, warm hearts” program that provides shoes and jackets for needy children through Chandler schools.

In 2008, The Chandler Service Club Awarded Cathy Bua The High Honor Of Lifetime Membership. So, All Of Us At Cathy's Rum Cake Caterers Want To Thank The Chandler Service Club For All That They Do And Giving The "Rum Cake" The Oppurtunity To Help Them In Their Heartfelt Causes. In 1933, Chandler Service Club members cooked the meals in their homes, delivered them to the school children who could not afford lunch. During 1937, a school cafeteria was built so that lunches could be prepared on-site.  CSC continued to sponsor the program for twenty years which expanded to include lunches for all children in the Chandler School District, until the District gradually assumed the responsibility.

Chandler Service Club’s principal fundraiser is its Annual Charity Ball, the second oldest such event in the State of Arizona.
