Mid America Motorworks invites automotive enthusiasts to experience Spring Swapfest

March 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Effingham, Ill. – Spring Swapfest is a unique opportunity for automotive enthusiasts to explore thousands of parts, as well as buy, sell and swap with other collectors. Scheduled for Saturday, May 7 at Mid America Motorworks' corporate campus in Effingham, Ill., Spring Swapfest allows enthusiasts to look for bargains using a hands-on approach. They are able to see the automotive parts, accessories and memorabilia first-hand.

Mid America Motorworks' Spring Swapfest features parts and accessories for a variety of vehicles, including Chevrolet, Ford, Hot Rods, Street Rods and Muscle Cars, with a special emphasis on Corvette and Air-Cooled Volkswagen. There will also be a Cars for Sale Corral, allowing attendees to sell vehicles for a $20 per car registration. While collectors are able to find great at Swapfest, that is not the only draw to the event.

"People really enjoy meeting at Swapfest and having fun with other automotive enthusiasts. This is an important part of our hobby and we're happy to see it grow each year," said Mike Yager, the company's Chief Cheerleader.

Swapfest is only open to private sellers with NOS or used items, creating the authentic swap meet feel. Swapfest is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with exhibitor set-up at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be available on the Swapfest grounds. A 20' x 20' exhibitor space is available for $20 to anyone interested in selling their own goods. Mid America Motorworks' returned, scratched or discontinued merchandise will also be available to purchase at special prices, while new parts and accessories will be a 10% off catalog prices during Swapfest. Swapfest will offer shipping for those who do not want to or are unable to transport items themselves.
