March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- “Searching for authentic current Reggae music?  Look no further, check out the track "Beating" (Beaten) by Asante Amen, one of the young reggae warriors of this generation (click to listen http://soundcloud.com/newimage-music/asante-amen-beating-beaten )”

Often times the authentic Jamaican Reggae music, we inherited from our forefathers is rejected or deliberately put on the 'back burner' by persons claiming to be 'die hearts' of the genre without a reasonable explanation.

This music is not for Jamaica only, in fact it has been Jamaica's biggest gift to the world (besides Rastafari) but as the great Bob Marley once said, "it (Reggae) can be copied yes but is not the copy is the feel". Marley went on to say that this music is "of the people."  And so, this music called Reggae is not just a trend to be followed but an artistic expression of a nation of people, gifted for spreading messages; messages of love, hope, peace and fulfillment to people of this world.

Every Jamaican is unique.  It is no coincidence that the late Bob Marley and living Legend, Lee Scratch Perry are sons of the Jamaican soil; It was ordained.

Therefore, the work must continue and we know not who the next great messenger will be.  So it is all too important that every offspring of this great genre is heard.
All who have ears to hear, let them hear.  'cause we are the children of tha........" Bob Marley - Africans Unite
