Saints Head Coach Plays Golf at Prestigious Golf Club

March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton and Assistant Head Coach, Joe Vitt, enjoyed a round of golf at Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club in Broussard on Saturday with golf professional Blaine Lindsly, and Le Triomphe General Manager/COO Dawna Waterbury.  The foursome were able to enjoy the championship course before this week’s prestigious Louisiana Chitimacha Open, a Nationionwide® PGA Tour event that brings the world’s top young golf professionals to Acadiana.  

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the tournament, which has donated $3.75 million  to many local charities since its incorporation and the 25th anniversary of Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club.  The public is invited to attend the event which begins Thursday, March 24 and continues through to Sunday, March 27th.  For ticket information, please call the Chitimacha Louisiana Open office at 337-593-8000.
