President Asif Zardari & Dr. Tanveer Zamani confronted by Siddiqui's Mother to bring Aafia back!

March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Zardari Zamani facing another challenge:
Siddiqui, 86 year -sentenced prisoner in the US,  by the federal judge Berman in Manhattan on September 23, 2010. She is a Ph.D and an MIT graduate. convicted  to have ties with extremist groups and attempted murder of the American soldiers. After six months of lingering between hope and despair, her mother once disappointed with the Government of Pakistan and the Embassy of PK in the US, has finally demanded on the National TV that Dr. Tanveer Zamani , must take interest in her daughter's case as a mother and help a mother to bring her daughter back. Dr. Zamani is a US practicing physician who is not only a known Democrat, but also Pakistani political activist.  About her it has been recently reported that she got married to President Zardari, the leaked news were later suppressed by the Pakistani government and Pakistan people's Party due to the political and security reasons.


Aafia Siddiqui's mother Statement:

I am making this press release, above and beyond the legal logistics of my daughter  Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s case, although the decision in her case remained a dilemma to the people of Pakistan, and many in the world including the American Muslim community. The sufferings of Muslim community post 9-11 are self-explanatory when on last Thursday, March 10, 2011, an American Democratic congressman Keith Ellison broke down into tears during a hearing on Radical Islam.
While I regret that the efforts so far made, including by our Pakistani Government  have remained unheard, I as a mother of Aafia,  on behalf of all the Pakistani mothers,  raise my hopes in Dr. Tanveer Zamani’s  Voice. Also, I anticipate that Mr. Asif Zardari would fulfill his duty as the ‘President’ of Pakistan in this venture.  
Since Dr. Tanveer Zamani Sahiba is popularly known as “Pakistan ko jese ma mil gai ho.” [as if  Pakistan has gotten a mother (in the form of Dr. Zamani)].  So, I ask her, as a Mother to a Mother, above and beyond all the American legal and Pakistani formal government proceedings and the intricacy of the case, only on an absolute Humanitarian basis, that Dr. Zamani must consider it as a duty to humanity and act as a mother, than being just known as a leader. “I hope my voice will reach you Dr. Zamani. Please bring my daughter Aafia back home and let her children meet their mother”.  I am not asking you to challenge their law, I am asking you to challenge your own motherhood.  And, after listening to you, I trust your instincts as a human, and as a mother!”
