Charl hoping for some major form

Last year, Schwartzel announced his arrival on the PGA Tour with strong showings in two WGC events, the Accenture Match Play and the CA championship, finishing second behind Ernie Els in the latter, and following it up with a third place finish at the Shell Houston Open.



A disappointing tie for 52nd finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational came inbetween those last two strong showings, and the 26-year-old will be hoping for a similar recovery in Houston this week ahead of Augusta.



Schwartzel's major performances last year were very respectable: tied for 30th at the Masters, T16 in the US Open, T14 in the Open, and T18 in the PGA Championship.
