CATE SCHOOL STUDENTS PLACE IN NATIONAL BIOLOGY COMPETITION

Cate School Juniors Thanh-Liem Huynh-Tran of Santa Barbara and Shyam Akula of Arcadia were recently named national semifinalists in the USA Biology Olympiad Competition.  Both students scored in the top 10% of all students who took this test, and subsequently took a two-hour test for semifinalists to qualify for the national Biology Olympiad team that will compete in Taiwan this summer.
