The Euro V standard for the usage of Ultra-low-Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) ensures that the content of sulfur in the fuel is less than 10 parts per million (ppm), something which has been achieved through upgraded petrochemical production. The setting up of advanced units capable of meeting these production requirements requires investment from operators or owners.
