Follow on Google News | ![]() 25 NSCS Members Awarded Truman ScholarshipTwenty-five members of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) are among the 197 students selected as Truman Scholars for 2011.
By: NSCS The Truman Scholarship Foundation, which was started in 1977 to honor President Truman, awards each scholar $30,000 for graduate study, priority admission to several elite graduate programs, leadership training, career counseling and internship opportunities within the federal government. According to the scholarship website “The Truman is a very competitive national scholarship.
