TIERS - Thorough Intervention Ensures Reading Success - The RtI Solution

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- TIERS is a systematic and powerful hands-on intervention program that maps out the course for successful achievement in beginning reading.  Students advance through well-developed literacy continuums as they master essential skills needed to achieve reading proficiency. Students work their way through an organized and progressive series of "jobs" using hands-on materials.

This systematic approach provides the students with many opportunities for practice and review, as well as clear and specific corrective feedback. However, TIERS isn't successful simply because of what is placed in front of the student. To achieve the greatest success with this program, how the material is presented is also a key ingredient.
