GROOVE U Joins Industry Leaders For Musician Inc. Conference at Ohio State

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Musician Inc. is a half day music conference at The Ohio State University taking place on Friday, April 22, 2011 at noon in the Ohio Union. Now in its second year, Musician Inc. will feature a keynote interview with two elite music industry insiders - Jeff Blue and Jerry DePizzo in addition to an informational session on GROOVE U, the first music industry college to open in Columbus, Ohio.

GROOVE U's Dwight Heckelman will moderate the panels, providing insight for the artists/entrepreneurs in attendance. The GROOVE U information session begins promptly at 5:00pm and is free and open to the public. Budding artists, music enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to become more connected with the music industry is invited to learn about the opportunities GROOVE U has to offer.

Registration for the Musician Inc conference will begin at noon. Following the conference, there will be brief showcases at Kobo from eight local acts (7:00 PM).  Student tickets are $10 until April 8th and $15 after April 8th. Tickets for the public are $20 until April 8th and $30 after April 8.
