Luna Chica Records Releases Christi Bauerlee's Album Show Me Who You Are

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Luna Chica Records International (LCR) is proud to announce the release of country singer/songwriter Christi Bauerlee’s album, Show Me Who You Are. Bauerlee was signed to the Nashville-based indie label late in 2010.

Brenda Cline, Luna Chica Records’ chief operating officer, first met with Bauerlee to explore the possibility of signing her to the label. Cline quickly discovered that Bauerlee already had an extensive catalog of songs written and recorded by her that could easily become a record.

“Christi is an amazingly gifted songwriter, singer and artist,” said Cline. “I was super impressed by her songwriting talent and the production quality of her demos. When we discussed the possibility of recording a new record, I told her that she already had one – her demos.”

According to Cline, the bar is raised very high for songwriters’ demos produced in Nashville and feels that those demos could easily be made into quality recordings for commercial use.

"This CD represents all of the talent that helped make these songs sound incredible to pitch to other artists and now end up on Show Me Who You Are," said Bauerlee. "This CD is not only about me, it celebrates the other producers involved, my co-writers, every one of the musicians that played on my songs, the engineers that recorded, and the mixing engineers that mixed the songs. I'm proud and blessed to be part of such a talented musical community."
Show Me Who You Are consists of eleven songs packed full of life and all of the emotions that go along with it, and is described by Bauerlee as being “a little bit country, a little bit Southern rock and a whole lot of soul.”

The first and title track on the CD is a fun, upbeat anthem of encouragement for women to embrace who they are and live a life with no regrets. “Caught Up In You,” “In Bed With A Stranger,” “I’ll Be Gone” and “Perfect Storm” expertly hit the emotional nerves of the listener addressing the complexities of relationships from new love to wrong love to wanting love that can’t be had. “Ripple” goes another direction telling the story of kindness and paying it forward, while the CD ends with the uptempo, motivational “Get On The Ride.”
