European Seal of e-Excellence 2012: applications are now open !

- Excellent marketing practices to promote them
By  focusing on the marketing aspects of digital products and services, the  European Seal of e-Excellence helps winners promote themselves in the worldwide  market.

How  to Apply
The  period to apply for the European Seal of e-Excellence officially opens on 1 May  2011, and nominations will be received until 31 December 2011. Interested  companies may apply online at the Seal website: www.seal-of-excellence.org

Awarded  Annually Since 2003
The  Seal has been awarded annually since 2003 by the EMF - The Forum of e-Excellence (www.emfs.eu) and its Partner Associations at an Award Ceremony  at CeBIT, the European trade show for the ICT industry.

At  the occasion of the launch, Dr. Margaretha Mazura, Secretary General of the  EMF, points out: "2012 is a special year for the Seal: It is its 10th  anniversary.  In the short-living times of ICT, this is an achievement we are proud of. The  Seal is increasingly gaining recognition and becoming a major focal point for  Europe’s most successful digital media companies, not only in term of products  and services, but also in terms of marketing. Excellence is useless if nobody  knows about it. Therefore, those who have not yet applied and won a Seal of  e-Excellence, I can only say: Join the Club!".

Benefits  of Winning the Seal
The  Seal of e-Excellence has been awarded annually since 2003 by a network of  digital media associations from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,  India, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. A jury  composed of representatives of the partner associations selects the winners on  the basis of an open application process.

Winners of the Seal  of e-Excellence are entitled to:

•   Publicly display and proactivelly use the "European Seal of e-Excellence" logo in their own public relations and marketing programs
•   Free membership in EMF - the Forum of e-Excellence
•   Membership in the Club of e-Excellence, the LinkedIn Group of Seal winners
•   Preferential rates for all e-Accelerator and e-FundingFacilitator services (including a free business expansion audit and a free EU funding audit)
•   Free organisation profile in e-Match, the international ICT profiling and project matchmaking platform

Partner  Background
The EMF is the umbrella  organization for the European Seal of e-Excellence in collaboration with  Partner organisations which provide local support  in their respective areas.
