German American Chamber teams up with iDream.tv to support German Language Education at Gala Event

May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- With a high profile key note speaker, a sumptuous meal, a spectacular view, and a high impact fundraising video this Gala event is sure to hit it's mark.

Recognizing the vital importance of language in fostering the development of business and trade, the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest - MN Chapter is dedicating proceeds of their annual fundraiser to support the efforts of three German language programs including the Twin Cities German Immersion School in St. Paul, the German program at Minneapolis South High School led by Arthur French, and the Concordia Language Villages Waldsee program.

The key note speaker and honored guest, is Professor Dr. Norbert Lammert, President of the German Parliament (Bundestagspräsident).

A video produced by iDream.tv called "Why German?" spotlighting the three programs will also be shown at the event.

The Minnesota Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest is dedicated to encouraging, extending and promoting trade, commerce and investment between the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Minnesota. Set high above the city of Minneapolis, MN in the beautifully appointed IDS Tower, the Gala will once again be a social highlight for the German-American business community in the Midwest. Approximately 300 guests will experience a distinctive evening including an elegant dinner, a sumptuous wine tasting of international and domestic wines presented by Sommeliers Udo Heinz of Udo Heinz Consult and Kyle Peterson of Winehaven Winery, an entertaining program centered on German language education, luxorious items at the Silent & Live Auction, and networking with the GACCoM, MN Chapter business community.
