Up-and-coming Orange County dance studio to hold auditions for all age-level teams

This is exactly what Rock Candee, a dance company based in Aliso Viejo, is about—an extreme form of dance that incorporates fierce style, cutting-edge choreography, impeccable technique, unique costuming and—above all—teamwork, to bring together girls of all ages who love to dance, all in a competitive setting.

Come join Rock Candee Dance & Co. on Friday, May 6th, 2011 at 4 Journey, Aliso Viejo, California, 92656 for auditions. Auditions for ages 5-13 begin at 5 PM, and ages 14 and up begin at 7 PM. Auditions are free, so come on by to show us what you’ve got, or just learn more about our company.  

Rock Candee Dance & Co. is holding tryouts now in order to have set teams ready for technique building by the end of summer, leading into choreography and routines in September, which will prepare the teams for competition in
January. Teams initially compete at a local level, with the sole goal of attaining a bid for the World Championship in Florida at the end of April
2012.  

Can’t make it to the auditions on Friday, May 6th 2011? A make-up audition will be held Friday, May 13th at 5pm (All Ages) at Dance Palace.

Rock Candee Dance & Co. was founded by Anne Davila, a life-long dancer and choreographer.  As the former coach and choreographer for 17 years of the prestigious Aliso Niguel High School High Songleaders, Anne has made a name for herself in the competitive dance world.  Currently, Davila coaches and choreographs for the Beckman High School Dance Team in Irvine, California, preparing the nationally recognized team for school events as well as national-level competitions. With over 18 years of experience in the industry, Davila’s extensive résumé boasts accomplishments from guest choreographing professional NFL and NBA teams, designing innovative costumes for her groups, traveling to countries like Japan and Sweden sharing her passion for dance and creating musical compilations for cheer and dance teams around the world.
