By: Robert Mendoza Club members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County will be greeting, hosting and speaking at this year’s breakfasts. Club members will share their experiences, and talk about what the Club means to them, and how the Club has helped them acquire the skills and confidence to reach their potential. The honorees in the Salinas community are: • D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of California - Impact Award • Ross Azzolino, Volunteer - Appreciation Award • Paul Dughi, President of Cowles California Media Company - Civic Award. In Seaside, the honorees are: • William Perocchi of Pebble Beach Company - Impact Award • Rob Weakley and David Bernahl of Coastal Luxury Management - Appreciation Award • Lisa Coleff, District Manager, Wells Fargo Bank, Monterey - Civic Award A warm and nutritious breakfast, prepared by Club staff and served to guests by Club members, will be provided. The Community Breakfast begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 8:45 a.m. To assist with covering costs of hosting the event, a $15.00 fee is requested for individuals, and a table for 8 may be reserved for $100. Over 95% of the budget supporting the two Clubhouses comes from generous individuals, corporations and foundations. The Clubs are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. during summer and school breaks, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. when school is in session.
