Oxford University Press launch new website for the Oxford Online Learning ZoneOxford University Press’s (OUP) commission Obergine to create a new website for OUP's English Language Teaching (ELT) division – the Oxford Online Learning Zone for primary students.
By: Obergine The full learning portal will act as a hub for all Spanish Primary teaching courses and offer learning materials – available in formats ranging from interactive quizzes, games, videos, audio and documents with extra resources suitable for both student and parents. The next phase of development will be to port the demonstration website into Oxford University Press’s content management system and populate with the full set of learning content, modules and resources to complement all online English language teaching courses for primary aged children. Jeremy Anderson, digital director at Obergine says: “It was a true joy to design the new OUP Oxford Online Learning Zone website. It was great fun to have to think like a primary school aged child again and recall the things that used to excite us when we were 5 years old – and got us excited all over again! We also found ourselves being a little jealous of kids nowadays – it is much more fun to get interactive than to simply read. ” James Valls, senior producer at Oxford University Press, comments: ”Working with Obergine has been fantastic, great communication, with a flexible approach and an excellent team passionate about web design and development, I wholeheartedly recommend them!” The new OUP Oxford Online Learning Zone demonstration website can be found at http://fdslive.oup.com/ # # # Obergine is a web design, digital marketing and branding agency that specialises in the production of online and mobile marketing and business solutions.
