May 13, 2011 - PRLog -- American superstar Tiger Woods played only nine holes at the Players Championship today, then his knee injury came back again, and he was forced to quit the game.

April's U.S. Masters, Tiger Woods injuried his left knee in the first three rounds without TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood (http://www.golfsaleworld.com/TaylorMade-R9-Fairway-Wood-1026.html), and since the Masters, tied for 4th place and he hasn't participate in any games after that.

Woods said: "My knee injury came back again, followed by the Achilles tendon, and leg began to cramp. All parts are followed to become tight, like a chain reaction as well."

At birth, Woods was given 'Eldrick' and 'Tont' as first and middle names. His middle name, Tont, is a traditional Thai name. He got his nickname from a Vietnamese soldier friend of his father, Vuong Dang Phong, to whom his father had also given the Tiger nickname. He became generally known by that name and by the time he had achieved national prominence in junior and amateur golf, he was simply known as 'Tiger' Woods.
