Ventura County Job & Career Centers to Offer Employer Services at Two Upcoming Business Expos

May 16, 2011 - PRLog -- VENTURA, CALIF.--Ventura County businesses can take advantage of the expertise offered by Ventura County Job & Career Centers (JCC) at two upcoming business expos. On Wednesday, May 25, JCC representatives will be at the SCORE "40th Anniversary Expo" at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center (800 Hobson Way). Hours are from noon to 9 p.m. On Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., JCC staff will be at  “Experience Camarillo Local Business Fair" (Constitution Park, 601 Carmen Drive). Admission is free to both events, but registration is required for the SCORE expo (SCORE Registration).

   JCC representatives will be on hand to discuss free center services that can help employers seeking qualified workers or assist businesses facing workforce reduction. The centers, located throughout Ventura County, also provide access to business consulting services and help businesses develop customized training programs for new and current employees.
