Don’t Miss Diamond Head Upholstery Tack at the 2011 Hospitality Design Conference

May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- The HD Expo showcases the industry’s newest and best products and services for hospitality design.  With over 900 exhibitors ranging from manufacturers to builders of hospitality products and service providers, the HD Expo is the premiere convention to inspire and kindle a creative spark for designing hospitality venues. Not surprisingly, innovators such as Diamond Head Upholstery Tack will be exhibiting.

Among the partners of the HD Expo are the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  The IIDA partnered up with the HD Expo to host the IIDA/HD Product Design Competition, which highlights the brilliant design advancements, both functional and aesthetical, of the hospitality world.  The ASID will be holding an HD Student Day, aimed at providing professional one-on-one guidance to aspiring students within the industry.

Diamond Head Upholstery Tack will be exhibiting for the first time at the HD Expo at booth 1168. In the past, Diamond Head Upholstery Tack owner Bree Cox had attended the HD Expo only as a designer, and is thrilled to now be able to exhibit her own company and showcase its products to the booming hospitality industry.  

To date, various prestigious firms have discovered the unique construction and quality craftsmanship of Diamond Head Upholstery Tack’s products. From 555 Design Management, who used Diamond Head’s tacks for the Rock Star Suite at the Dominican Republic Hard Rock Resort and Casino, to a stunning tufted wall at the Boom Box nightclub in the new Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Diamond Head Upholstery Tacks are poised to storm the design world.

The HD Expo will be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, 201 Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada from May 18-20, 2011.

Diamond Head Upholstery Tacks were invented by interior designer Bree Cox of Laguna Beach, California in 2007. As owner of Pacifique Maison Interior Design, Cox saw the need in the marketplace for a way of applying decorative crystals or stones to furniture and walls, and Diamond Head Upholstery Tacks were born.
