Community Christian Church Launches Church Online

May 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Following its mission of “helping people find their way back to God,” Community Christian Church launched a new ministry, “Community Online” on May 22, 2011.  Over 100 people logged on to participate in the Church’s first-ever online service and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

“The new online experience serves a multitude of people with varying needs,” explains Jeff Ekblad, Community Online Ministry Director.  “People who can’t physically attend a service can still benefit from the online experience.  Folks with relatives and friends who live outside the Chicagoland area can invite them to share in the church experience online.  And people who might never step inside a church can explore the opportunity to find their way back to God from the comfort of their own living room.”

Community Online is located at http://communitychristian.org/online - Community Online services take place Sundays at 9:00 p.m. Central Time.  Participants can watch the weekly message and chat live with other online participants. The church is already planning to start additional service times and hopes to offer more than 10 services by fall.
