May 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Stevano U.G.O of the U.G.O Crew laments on the tragic accident that occurred to his dear friend and mentor Sean Kingston on the evening of Sunday May 29th 2011. For U.G.O, Kingston was the figure in the music industry that mentored him in a side by side fashion when nobody else believed in him. The news of the crash was devastating with U.G.O quoted as saying  " I've been praying night and day for my friend Sean Kingston who believed in me before many others. I miss him very much, his funny jokes and strong spirit. I pray he makes it through this very scary life threatening experience."

Kingston and U.G.O, collaborated on a song and video titled "Change" which was nominated for a 2011 Canadian Radio Music Award. Kingston attended Canadian Music Week in Toronto March 11, 2011 with U.G.O and both spoke to the media and performed at the Guvernment night club in front of scores of fans alongside the U.G.O Crew and Danny Fernandes.

Kingston had just bought the jet ski days before, as he was moving into a new house in Miami, a source told the media. A friend, Cassandra Sanchez was riding on the Sea Doo jet ski with Kingston when it crashed into a Miami bridge, according to an accident report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Sanchez was also injured and hospitalized. His life vest apparently fell off during the crash, causing Kingston to sink below the water, according to witnesses who rescued him from the water. He suffered multiple critical injuries and is now stabilized in the ICU of the Ryder Trauma center in Miami, Florida.

Stevano has since flown to Miami to visit the injured singer while the U.G.O Crew stayed behind to prepare for their upcoming June tour across Canada with 'Cool Like That' veterans, Digable Planets June 17 to July 16. Kingston is seen to many in the industry as an unsung hero for appreciating new talent and signing new artists to his independent label, one being a local Greater Toronto Area artist Tory Lanez as well as Houston rapper Young Twinn.  The award nominated song and video "Change" can be viewed below on YouTube below.
