Drama on the Reel Productions Presents Gospel Play of the Season “Sinking Sand”

June 4, 2011 - PRLog -- God, Adultery, HIV, Poison, Extortion...OMG! is the tag line that is buzzing on the lips of the nearly "Sold Out" audience who attended the Mother’s Day Weekend premier of "Sinking Sand". The crowd was dazed and amazed by the performances and great gospel singing of the actors, the story line and the plot twists and turns that kept the audience guessing every second.

Makayla, a faithful Christian woman of the church seeking direction and stability through some sinking situations along with her sister Sophe and niece Nikki are all attempting to find direction. Makayla is waging a war against sinful addictions that grips her heavy. These addictions stem all the way back from her environments. This is a war that she is losing quickly. All while trying to stay atop the Christian role model pedestal that the church has placed on her. In the end, despite walking this precarious tightrope, the audience will discover startling revelations about Makayla and her family she longs to be closer to.

On the other side of town is a well-known singer celebrity, Prescott (reminds you of BeBe Winans situation http://www.wsmv.com/entertainment/18919827/detail.html) is hiding and sinking to find direction and purpose for his life with long-time high maintenance girl-friend Capricorn. They move from the high profile lifestyle to settle in a quiet neighborhood in the south in hopes of leaving an activated past. Money is no object but a life sentence could be an outlook option.
