Diesels, LLC Formed to Assist Biodiesel Producers and Purchasers

June 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Little Rock, AR:  Biodiesel consulting group, Lee Enterprises of Little Rock, Arkansas is pleased to announce its management of Diesels, LLC, a newly activated company designed to assist biodiesel producers and purchasers in buying and selling biodiesel.  Wayne Lee, principal owner of Lee Enterprises Consulting, says his company is very pleased to have been selected to manage what he calls “a revolutionary step in the biodiesel industry.”

“Diesels, LLC was formed by four individuals with lots of experience in the biodiesel industry,” says Lee.  Two of them own the engineering and design groups that have designed, built and installed more biodiesel plants than anyone I know of,” says Lee.  “All four have owned a biodiesel plant and have first-hand experience with the problems facing the industry,” he says.  

Lee says the company is designed to serve the needs of biodiesel producers by allowing them to receive more of the benefit of the RIN and tax credit.  Biodiesel purchasers who do not need the RIN or tax credit may simply buy the product at prices competitive with rack prices of diesel fuel.  “The RIN and the tax credit were designed to benefit the folks with the risk,” says Lee. “Most biodiesel purchasers just want consistently, good quality product at competitive rates.”   He emphasizes that the “Diesels’ system” accomplishes these goals and creates a “win/win” situation for all.      

Lee notes that Diesels has been in the developmental stages since 2009, researching and “fine tuning the extensive governmental rules and regulations” associated with selling biodiesel without RINS.  “While it may seem like a simple task to simply detach RINS and move on,” says Lee, “I can assure you that it is more complex than it might appear.”  He notes that there are only nine ways to legally detach RINS, and when an invalid RIN is traded, it creates a major problem for everyone involved.  “The attorneys, CPAs and other experts have spent quite a bit of time perfecting a system that will work,” says Lee. “As the world’s largest biodiesel consulting group, Lee Enterprises Consulting is proud to be a part of this new group and what it will mean for the industry.”
