Design Engineering, Inc. (DEI) Names Ken Maynard SPA Turbo, USA Product Manager

June 20, 2011 - PRLog -- AVON LAKE, OHIO (APRIL 11, 2011) – Design Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Ken Maynard, a seasoned race enthusiast, business owner and repair technician, as the company’s new product manager for SPA Turbo, USA.  Maynard was hired in late 2010 to oversee the development and promotion of DEI’s SPA Turbo USA product line.  Prior to joining DEI, Maynard worked as the director of engineering for MISCO Refractometer, Beachwood, OH and was the former owner of Pressure Treated Technologies in Cleveland, OH. He began his career immediately following graduation with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bryant & Stratton Business College as the service manager and a technician for BGE Technologies in Lakewood, OH.

Maynard says, “My focus was on the V8 community until my mid-twenties when I became heavily involved with the sport compact/turbocharger performance community.”

As the North American Distributor for SPA Turbo, DEI offers a complete line of turbine housings, turbo manifolds westgate mounts and fuel pressure regulators for the performance market. Maynard will be responsible for the growth, promotion and development of this high value turbocharger product line in the United States.
