Wings Wheels & Rotors In Los Alamitos On Sunday, 23 October

July 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Alamitos,CA. Wings Wheels and Rotors is an open house and family event on the
fightline at Los Alamitos Army Airfield on the Joint Forces Training Base in Orange County. WWRE 2011 is from 9AM to 4PM on Sunday, 23 October. This vast outdoor event will have military aircraft, helicopters,flyovers, warbirds and displays. Included is a huge car show and awards for best cars will be presented. Also, music, vendors,food and demonstrations.
Free flights for youth (8-17)interested in aviation by the Experimental Aircraft Associations Young Eagles. Additionally, helicopter rides for a fee by Adventure Helicopters.
Helicopter Awareness Day provided by the Professional Helicopter Association.
Cars can register for the car show at www.WWRExpo.net.
Open to the public but must have photo ID to enter the base.
Free admission, free parking.Proceeds also go to the base Morale Welfare Recreation Fund. Donations accepted.
Gates open at 9AM and the event is over at 4PM
