Model Airplane Exposition and Fly-In at the Compton Airport

July 30, 2012 - PRLog -- COMPTON,CA -  Chapter 96 of the Experimental Aircraft Association at the Compton Airport is having an aviation open house on Sunday, 5 August. A great family event that the kids will also enjoy. Gates will open at 9AM and the event ends at 3PM.

The Compton Airport is located at 1017 W.Alondra Boulevard, Compton,CA. 90220.

Dozens of radio controlled aircraft will be on display and in the air. Amazing models that fly and zoom like the real ones. Also, there will be an airplane fly in plus  toy glider building activity for kids under 10.

This is also an educational opportunity for youth interested in flying and aerospace careers along with experiencing a enjoyable with flying machines.

Free parking. Kids ten and under are free...all others $3 a person.
Sunday will also have vendors and food plus flight simulators for all to try.
Bring your folder chairs and enjoy the aerial sights. Bring your cameras...
